Honda's CR-V series is one of the most successful SUVs in Canada. For the 2024 model year, the Japanese brand has made a number of improvements to this range of vehicles, to the delight of Canadian users. So what are these innovations compared to the previous year?
Changes from the previous year
For the 2024 Honda CR-V, several notable modifications have been made, starting with the Sport-L hybrid version. It features two hybrid engines and finishes very similar to the top-of-the-range model. It features heated seats, an electric tailgate and leather upholstery. Its multimedia system is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly. It's worth noting that most models are roomier on the inside and larger on the outside.
Infotainment and technology
The CR-V series SUVs remain faithful to the latest technology. Let's start with a 7-inch touchscreen for the LX, Sport and EX versions, and 9 inches for the rest. This screen is used for various settings and vehicle functions, such as the 12 BOSE speakers and the navigation system. It is also equipped with an intelligent charging mat and several USB inputs. All Honda CR-V 2024 models feature a central active-matrix display on the dashboard.
Comfort inside and out
The 2024 Honda CR-V has a robust design, with a honeycomb grille for improved ventilation. It also features an electric roof that can be activated at the touch of a button. All versions of this car series feature multiple wheels with 17- or 18-inch rims.
As for the interior, we can say that it is more spacious than the previous year, offering more room for drivers and passengers. There's also a 60/40-split folding rear seat, providing more storage space for the whole family.
